STEP 1
Pull the handle apart on the balloon stretcher and place
the balloon on the fingers. If you are using an imprinted balloon,
turn it wrong side out before you place it on the stretcher
(Figure 1). |
STEP 2
Push the Balloon Stretcher handles together to stretch the neck of the
balloon
.(Figure 2). |
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
STEP 3
Lower the Balloon Stretcher over the stuffing tube. Release
the handle and slowly push the stretcher down until the
balloon releases and then remove the stretcher.
(Figures 3,4,5, & 6). |
 |
 |
|
STEP 4
Begin inflating and insert the protective sleeve into the neck of
the balloon. Guide the balloon down to the center of the inflation
chamber with your hand if the balloon is not going straight (See Fig.
7). When the balloon hits the bottom of the chamber, you may
remove your hand as it will hold itself in place. Continue
inflating the balloon until it presses firmly against all four sides of
the chamber (See Fig. 8). If the balloon is fully inflated it will
be pressing and flattening out against the under side of the lid, this
forming a seal for easy balloon removal once your design is
finished. The balloon will actually be slightly flattened on
sides, bottom , and top. |

 |
|
STEP 5
You are now ready to do your stuffin' and create your design.
Figures 9 and 10 show a simple bear in a balloon. |
 |
 |
|
STEP 6
To remove your finished product, first remove the protective
sleeve. Then take the balloon loose from the tube one notch at a
time.
(Figure 11) |
STEP 7
If you have any problems losing air when removing the balloon neck
from the tube you have not inflated the balloon enough. If the
balloon has been inflated properly, you should be able to turn the balloon
neck loose after removal from the tube without tying it off and it will
not lose air (See Fig. 12). In actual practice, there is no reason
to turn the balloon neck loose after removal from the tube, but this shows
you there is no reason to pull too hard , or quick when you remove the
balloon neck from the tube as this is when you could tear the neck if it
has been weakened while stuffing. |
 |
 |
|
STEP 8
Tie the balloon off with a knot, or we recommend the safetite disc
(See Fig. 13). At this time, if your balloon was fully inflated,
the top of the balloon will still be pressing against the underside of
the lid and the inflation chamber will still retain a vacuum. |
STEP 9
To release the vacuum press down lightly on the top of the balloon
to form a gap between the top of the balloon and the bottom of the lid.
(Figure 14) |
 |
 |
|
STEP 10
At this time you can remove the lid and remove your design (See Fig.
15 & 16). You may do your top design while the balloon is
still firmly held in the inflation chamber before removal if you wish. |
